Having been inspired and surrounded by the natural world and its beauty, I create art to reflect that beauty and share it with others. Whether I use oils or acrylics, I experiment with every color I can find or make to compare and decide what I feel fits best for each subject as I paint. I always put a great deal of time and effort into each natural landscape and pet portrait. For the latter, I connect with them and gain a better understanding of who they are as I detail them on the canvas, especially whenever I paint their eyes. From the first brush stroke to the finished product, I communicate with my subjects on a deeper emotional level than words ever could.
